Suitable for residential and commercial spaces, Virtus locks provide superior strength, premium quality, and are compatible with the Forge and Verta families of furniture. This seamless integration provides secure locking for sliding, hinged and bifold doors with the option of two elegant styles. Austral Lock’s Forge series has a zinc substrate and can be locally powder coated to colour match any project. Verta is crafted from 316 stainless steel with satin stainless or PVD black finishes to provide a premium solution.
Using shared lock bodies between both furniture ranges, simplifies installation and product selection, while making premium project upgrades effortless. To complete the solution, all lock bodies and furniture options are compatible with our Euro profile cylinders which provide multiple locking configurations and keying options.
Sliding
- Secure double-hook bolts, with 28.5 and 40mm backset options
- Anti-slam technology to prevent bolts being thrown unless door is closed
- Standard and low profile strikes available
- Designed and manufactured in New Zealand
- Tested to 500,000 latching cycles in accordance with AS 4145.2:2008
Hinged
- 2 and 4 point locking with 30, 35, 40 and 60mm backsets available
- Two stage deadbolt: 13 and 22mm throw in one lock, retracts with single key turn
- Optional sliding snib and magnetic multipoint rod kits
- Also compatible with Aurora door furniture which includes a DDA compliant lever option
- Tested to 500,000 latching cycles in accordance with AS 4145.2:2008
Bifold
- Single action locking for top and bottom throw of 25mm
- Suitable for bifolding panels up to 3.5m tall
- Compatible with single side or dual access configurations
Cylinders
- Clutch mechanism allows cylinder to be key unlocked while a key is inserted on the other side
- Configurations include thumb turns and double cylinders 70 an 80mm lengths
- Supplied with C4 or GR9 keyway for compatibility with our One Key system
- Available in satin stainless and PVD black finishes
